Held a community wide Senior Safety Expo in partnership with local Police and Fire Departments to present valuable information about personal, health, and travel safety for seniors (June 12, 2008 at Lyons Township South High School)

Installed 2 benches at Blackhawk Park for beautification and cleaned and planted flowers at the gazebo

Created Senior Discount Days

Partnered with School District 106 to build business-community-education relationships

Distributed the File of Life

Started Senior Scenes – theatre play reading program in partnership with the Theatre of Western Springs

Organized flu shot clinics
